ILRI envisions a world where all people have enough food and livelihood options to fulfil their potential. ILRI is a Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research CGIAR Research Centre. ILRI’s mission is to improve food and nutritional security and to reduce poverty in developing countries through research for efficient, safe and sustainable use of livestock—ensuring better lives through livestock.

The Global Roundtable for Sustainable Beef (GRSB) mission is to advance, support, and communicate continuous improvement in the sustainability of the global beef value chain through leadership, science, and multi-stakeholder engagement and collaboration. The GRSB envisions a world where beef is a trusted part of a thriving food system in which the beef value chain is environmentally sound, socially responsible, and economically viable.
